The first two weeks of the Access School have gone great! The students are eager to interact and speak in English as much as possible. We have been learning about homecoming in America as well as family traditions. This week we just started to discuss family problems. The words are difficult, but it is one way for the students to build their vocabulary. On Saturday, we had a significant number of students show up where we discussed soccer in English. Also, we talked about Halloween and are planning to stage some event. The students seem to be looking forward to this and want to have events that we talked about in our family reunion lesson, such as bobbing for apples!
