Dear teachers and students of Elista Access School! My son and I are congratulating you with the beginning of the new academic year! We are in Tucson, Arizona now. My son is attending Sam Hughes Elementary School, he is the 3rd grade. I am doing my research on indigenous languages preservation and teaching in the USA at the University of Arizona, Language, Reading and Culture Department of College of Education. I am attending the teleconferencing class "Cultivating Native Well-being through Education" with six sites: Hawaii, New Zealand,Vancouver, Alaska, Wisconsin, and Arizona. It is a very interesting class. It starts at 7 p.m. Arizona time. It is 4 p.m. in Hawaii then, 12 p.m. in Wisconsin, 2 p.m. of the next day in New Zealand. All the people attending this class and teaching it are specialist in preserving minority languages and cultures. I am sure I will learn a lot in this class to help to preserve our Kalmyk language. I would like to encourage you to learn your English better so as you could also learn how to help our native language to survive. For that it is very important to know English as most of materials on this topic are in English. It is worth learning English for this noble aim.
I will try to write you from time to time to tell about our life here in Tucson.
Best wishes in learning English at Elista Access School.

But best of all I liked your teleconferencing class "Cultivating Native Well-being through Education" with six cities.
I wish I could attend your teleconferencing class.
