Access Lessons on Saturdays

In addition to our classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the students are also able to come on Saturdays to discuss unique aspects of American culture and holidays. We have our 'regulars' who are always eager to come and increase their vocabulary and knowledge. The new students from groups one and two also participate. This past Saturday we discussed Easter in America. The students learned about Easter egg hunts, the Easter bunny, and how the meaning of the holiday has changed over time. They completed several activities together in pairs such as crosswords and a wordsearch. We ended the lesson with a small piece from the animated film 'Madagascar.'
